Ownership and authorship

The original human-authored material presented through Benkum Art—including stories, captions, written descriptions, original glyph artwork, website code, and creative selection, coordination, and arrangement—is claimed by Kwame Asiedu and is protected by applicable law to the extent that the material qualifies for protection.

This notice does not claim exclusive copyright in material that is not protected by copyright law.

What is not being claimed

Benkum Art does not claim ownership of facts, real-world events, ideas, concepts, methods, artistic styles, or other material that copyright law does not protect.

Titles, names, short phrases, and similar brief expressions may also have limited or no copyright protection. Other forms of protection may apply in particular circumstances.

Use of the artwork and project materials

Unless expressly stated otherwise, no permission is granted to reproduce, redistribute, modify, republish, sell, license, or commercially exploit Benkum Art's copyright-protected material.

In particular, please do not:

• reproduce or republish artwork or written material as your own;
• modify or incorporate artwork into another work without permission where such use requires authorization;
• sell or commercially distribute copies of the work;
• incorporate project materials into collections, products, or services without permission; or
• remove or alter attribution or copyright information where protected by applicable law.

Normal viewing of the website and ordinary sharing of links to the website are welcome.

AI training and automated use

Benkum Art does not authorize the use of its copyright-protected material for the creation of datasets or for training, fine-tuning, or evaluating artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems.

This statement communicates Benkum Art's position and does not purport to determine whether a particular use is permitted or prohibited under copyright law. Questions concerning AI training, fair use, scraping, and other automated uses remain subject to applicable law and, in some areas, continuing legal and policy development.

You may link to the Benkum Art website.

A link to the website does not grant permission to reproduce, host, mirror, or republish the artwork or other copyright-protected material.

Downloading

Images displayed on a website may technically be capable of being saved or copied by a visitor's browser. The ability to make such a copy does not constitute a license from Benkum Art to reproduce, redistribute, modify, or commercially exploit the material.

Where a particular work is intentionally offered for download under specific terms, those terms will govern that download.

Brand

“Benkum Art” is used as the name and identity of this project. Copyright and trademark are separate forms of intellectual-property protection. Trademark rights, where applicable, concern the use of a name, symbol, or design as an identifier of the source of goods or services.

Changes

Benkum Art may update this Rights & Usage page as the project develops and as applicable law changes.
